Hi, we had a wonderful stay at Riverside Eco Villa in Atanwala, Riverston. The place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed our time there.

One of the best places for a family or friends stay. The food and service was exceptional. Cleanliness on point. Indika maintains the villa so well. All our needs were met. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Sri Lanka, surrounded by forests, a river, and paddy fields. The location is absolutely serene, with a nice hike within walking distance, making it perfect if you want to disconnect from the world and be close to nature.

Indica, the caretaker, was extremely helpful and welcoming. He took us to nearby places, helped with everything we needed, and was always available. We got delicious food, including traditional Sri Lankan dishes, which we really enjoyed.

The owners were very kind and responsive, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out and making the entire stay completely hassle-free.

Such a beautiful villa surrounded by pure nature. It’s very close to the river and the starting point of the Manigala trek, which makes it perfect for nature lovers and hikers. The mornings here are magical – birds singing, paddy fields glowing, and such a calm, refreshing vibe.

The food was absolutely delicious (home-style and fresh!) and the staff, including the owner, were so supportive and flexible – really made us feel at home. Rooms are very clean, and the natural architectural design blends perfectly with the greenery around. We even spotted some small animals and lots of birds around the property.

The Riverside Eco Villa is a nice and calm place to relax. Our family stayed for 2 nights, and the meals were very delicious. I must mention that the environment around the villa is so beautiful. A special thanks to Mr. Indika for the excellent service he provided during our stay.

I highly recommend this villa for nature lovers.
As a small suggestion, it would be great if a Wi-Fi facility could be arranged.

Our stay at Riverside Eco Villa was a wonderful experience. The peaceful environment, excellent service, and delicious meals made our visit truly memorable. The food was freshly prepared and full of flavor, we genuinely enjoyed every meal. Though there was only one staff member during our stay, he was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive to all our needs.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. One suggestion would be to provide a WiFi connection in the future, which would make the stay even more convenient for guests.
